Nondiscrimination and Equal Access Policy

Conflict Resolution Institute (CRI) is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment. CRI does not discriminate in the delivery of services, employment, volunteer participation, training, internships, partnerships, or other programs based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, immigration status, primary language, religion, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, sex, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, socioeconomic status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

CRI prohibits discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and exclusion from participation in any of its programs or activities. We are committed to providing equitable access to mediation, conflict-resolution education, volunteer opportunities, and community services.

CRI will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and will make reasonable efforts to address language-access needs. Requests for accommodations or language assistance are encouraged as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in connection with CRI may report the concern to the Executive Director by calling 805-384-1313 or through the contact form at www.conflictresolutionvc.org. Complaints will be reviewed promptly, fairly, and as confidentially as reasonably possible. Retaliation against anyone who raises a good-faith concern or participates in a review is strictly prohibited.

CRI is committed to continually reviewing its practices and addressing barriers that may prevent individuals or communities from fully accessing our services and opportunities.
